Can someone help find a suitable chair?

I work with a little boy who has cerebral palsy, he’s 2 but very small around 50-60 cm tall and very slim, he has trouble lifting his head and has to sit on laps all the time because we can’t find a suitable chair for him so if anyone knows of anywhere that does chairs for disabled toddlers that’d be really helpful thanks!

Hi there are special chairs available which are generally known to pyhsio's

  • No. There are people who are professionals who do this. If you live in an area without any, travel to one. This is too important to get wrong. There are lots of different pediatric chairs and they are made for kids with very different bodies.

If he receives Medicaid - be sure the wheelchair supplier is Medicaid authorized. A chair seller should not be chosing the chair. It should be a physical therapist or occupational therapist - they have special training in this area.
