Maybe about an hour's drive and make a day out of it exploring the area.

    Enjoy your trip :)

PS: Florida Gators!...funny you mentioned them.....I bought some Florida Gator's note paper online the other day. The logo really caught my eye as something unique.

I was able to have Seafood boils in Louisiana, Alabama, and Florida this summer. Good, and not too expensive. But in the end, it's just food to me, and I wouldn't make a special trip for it. I grew up in Hawaii, so seafood was as common to me as beef would have been to a midwesterner.
