Reaching out for help is a great decision. We understand that that having anxiety can be very challenging. Be assured that by getting some support /treatment and using positive/healthy coping skills you can feel better.

Please consider using positive/healthy coping skills when you are feeling anxious such as journaling, exercising, listening to music, etc. It's important that you reach out for support from a trusted adult such as a parent, aunt, uncle, school counselor, teacher, coach We would suggest getting evaluated by a medical doctor or mental health professional, and getting involved in counseling. It may help you to talk to a counselor at a hotline. Know that there is help out there for you and you are not alone.

Things that can help: Get exercise, listen to music that you like to help take your mind of things, breath in-and-out/meditate, color, lavender oil, eat a lot of healthy foods/drink water, etc.

Things that will make anxiety worse: Caffeine/sugar, bad diet, dwelling on thoughts too much, not breathing properly, etc.

Also, Xanax can really help but first get it prescribed a doctor. But be safe with it, it's very addictive (trust me I'm already addicted to it) and only take it when you need it. Good luck, I hope you feel better. :)

See a therapist, preferably a cognitive behavioral therapist who can help you develop techniques to cope with anxiety.

And before you try anti-depressants or anti-anxiety medication, try 250 mg. of magnesium per day. Recent studies have shown that magnesium may be helpful for depression and anxiety. You should probably check with a doctor to be sure that there is no medical reason you shouldn't be taking magnesium supplements.

Give the magnesium a good 3 weeks to take effect. Regular exercise is also helpful.

A good question for someone who never learned how to as a small child.

Allowed adversity, children learn how to cope with anxiety. You were denied that as you were raised using social media, which stunted your brain's social development and because your parents were overprotective.

Likely, anyways. That is the case with most of your peers.

So now you are older and dealing with anxieties of an older kid only this is ypur first 'rodeo' and riding the bull is difficult without any training.

First, realize that there is no condition nor an illness called 'anxiety'. Anxiety is an emotive response exhibited by ALL humans and thus probably all mammals.

Go to therapy to learn how to deal with your anxieties. Your type of anxiety issue is best helped by therapy and only hurt by medication.
