Vegetarians, Vegans, and Omnitarians, What Claims Bothers You the Most, Those Who Follows the Same Diet/Lifestyle?

Please keep it to your dietary/lifestyle, and not get into that of others diet/lifestyle. It can be more than one thing that you find annoying, and/or non factually based. It can be a generalized statement, regarding certain things, which I won't take as being an all inclusive statement of all in your dietary and/or lifestyle preference. There are a few whom won't be able to answer though as they're likely to go off on some tangent and therein the posting a rant.

Update:

Also this isn't about the trolls, who have come to all to often frequent this section.

Yes there are things that others who eats meat, makes claim of or to, that vexes me greatly at times.

Update 2:

As examples, and for clarification on my question:

Here's one of the things that i find annoying is the claim that meat is the only way to get proper protein.

Another is that meat is necessary to be healthy, and thereby everyone has to eat meat to be healthy.

Update 3:

I've received excellent answers, and choosing one as the best answer, wasn't easy especially with two of them. But the time has come basically now, to close things up, and select the one I think is best.

I'm vegan and gluten free- mostly grain free. Advocate whole foods vegan diet, but personally eat junk food regularly.

It annoys me when vegans say that plant based dieters aren't real vegans, or act as if there were only one ethical conclusion or situation to consider concerning whether it us ever okay to kill or use animals, or when the plant based health vegans fail to consider that other people may have values above health.

What about being strict and exclusive ma j es anyone actually consider doing less harm to animals?

And why close your mind entirely to all other perspectives?

About gluten free diets- it annoys me when people say they eat gluten free sometimes or have a slight problem with gluten... if you aren't allergic to it, you're just switching which processed food you're eating. It's exactly as unhealthy...

And a "slight problem" is nothing like my problem, so you don't understand.

Fad dieters make it harder for medical dieters. They confuse the public, actually.

I am an omnivore, I do not try to impose meat on committed veg[etari]ans but neither will I allow them to impose their diet'lifestyle on me. To those that ask if they should change their diet -either way, veggie to omni; or omni to veggie, I always sat it is a personal choice and may compare with the choice of whether or not to drink alcohol. I also point out that there is no law to prevent changing one's ing so that if a person decides that his/her choice was a mistake, they are free to change back. If the person asking the Q is or appears to be a young person under 18, I point out the need to respect and obey their parents until they reach 18, and for this brought up veg[etari]an, continue to show this respect after18 by not eating meat in front of them.

Well, as a vegetarian, the thing that I find somewhat discomfiting is that I do not like fresh vegetables very much, I prefer processed vegetables. Recently though I noticed that you can put anything green between two pieces of bread, and it tastes ok. I have yet to have a kale sandwich though, although I think it could work.

It really bothers me when other vegans and vegetarians claim that our diet magically cures everything. Or when they say the opposite, that meat eating is the cause of some disease that it's not the cause of. Not only is lying immoral but it very much damages our credibility as a movement that seeks to protect animals. PETA does this a lot and PETA does good things sometimes. They've shut down a lot of different objectively abusive institutions and helped pass a lotta different laws that everyone agrees protects animals a little better but people REALLY focus in on all the lies they tell instead. xD

I've even met a vegan who did this on purpose. He was spreading a fake news story on Facebook. He didn't care that it was fake, he just wanted to discredit meat eaters. Very disturbing...

I find that most vegans are genuine enough to avoid doing this. But there's a few that I've seen that don't...

Not sure I understand the question. so sorry in advance if this is off topic.

The thing that bothers me is the ton of misinformation that is out there.

    Examples

Soy causes cancer/man boobs/ hormone imbalances

    vegetables don't have protein

    gluten is bad

iron can only be absorbed if its from meat

    cooking destroys nutrients
