The story of Jesus doesn t make sense?
Supposedly god so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son to get rekt on the cross so our sins may be forgiven.
that really doesn t make any sense. If he was god (omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient) then what s the need for sending in supposed son only to get killed and go back........I don t see the logic. If he wanted to forgive humanity then I don t see the need to kill Jesus, why not just forgive directly he s god anyway right?
Christians please explain I don t understand your book...

The fact of the matter, the reason is because Adam sinned in the beginning and we needed a savior to enter into the kingdom of heaven, without a savior there is no way to enter into the kingdom of heaven, that is why God sent he son, to demonstrate how he suffered from before the foundation of the world, because that is when the Lord Jesus Christ paid for sins was from before the foundation of the world, that is why Jesus Christ is called the lamb of God, that was slain from before the foundation of the world. Adam was with sin, and the Lord Jesus Christ was without sin, so we could enter into the kingdom of heaven. that is why God sent his only begotten son for his elect, so that some may become saved.

God can’t tolerate any sin; Holiness is part of His nature. We are all sinners. God’s nature also commands justice- but at the same time His nature is Love itself.
God’s justice says that man's sin is punished by man's spiritual death. Sin of any kind does not allow man to live for all eternity with God. Man's apology is insufficient for obtaining God's forgiveness in the first place. The parallel to this is that a criminal's apology without punishment is insufficient to forgive his murder of another person, his rape of a woman, or his robbery of a bank.
However, God's Love for His creation is great. So in the person of Jesus Christ (God Incarnate), His justice because of His holy nature achieves a balance with His love for us in that He showed that He, GOD, was willing to become human and die for our sins.
To satisfy Divine justice, and because He is Love, GOD in Jesus Christ died in our place to pay the penalty of the cost of our sins.

Catholicism is mostly a man-made religion: there is no purgatory. God doesn't care what you eat on Friday or any other day, not to mention indulgences, lighting candles, praying to Mary, Jesus dead and hanging helpless on a cross, etc. ..................... Find a big happy church, attend some groups there and have fun. God loves a cheerful giver. His salvation brings us joy. He is alive and loves you more than you can possibly imagine. :)

God is loving but He is also just. Sin requires payment.
We have a God given sense of justice too. Do you think we should ignore crime? Brush it off? Pretend it doesn't matter? If we as equally flawed human beings are right to desire justice in our dealings with each other, how can we expect a holy and perfect God to demand any less?
We all deserve His justice for our sin and that means hell for all eternity- separation from Him and all good things. But instead of that, Jesus paid the price for our sin with His willing and obedient sacrifice on the cross and God's justice was satisfied. Jesus was our substitute. He suffered the punishment we deserve so we could be made right with Him.
But you're right- it doesn't make sence- not to us petty humans. Its grace and grace is undeserved good. Its God's idea, not ours.
The choice is ours to humbly receive His grace or allow our pride to reject it and Him thus securing the fate we really do deserve.

Jesus is the corresponding ransom sacrifice for inherited Adamic sin. Adam lost perfect human life for mankind so Jesus redeemed man and shed his perfect blood for us so that man would receive a hope of perfect everlasting life in Jehovah's new world on a paradise earth.1 Cor 15:22,45; Rom 5:12; John 17:3; John 3:16

First, the Bible says that “God sent his only-begotten Son into the world so that we might gain life through him.” (1 John 4:9) That fact makes this gift truly precious. No one has greater authority than God. Regarding him, a Hebrew psalmist wrote: “You, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth.” (Psalm 83:18) We could not receive a gift from a higher source.
Second, God is “our Father.” (Isaiah 63:16) How so? He gave us life. In addition, he loyally cares for us as a devoted father cares for his children. Addressing some of his ancient people as Ephraim, God asked: “Is Ephraim not a precious son to me, a beloved child? . . . My emotions are stirred for him. And I will surely have pity on him.” (Jeremiah 31:20) God feels the same way about his worshippers today. He is not only our almighty Creator but also our loyal Father and Friend. Does that not make any gift from him especially treasurable?
WHY IS IT GIVEN?
Some gifts are precious because they were given, not out of obligation, but out of genuine love. A truly unselfish giver does not expect to be repaid for his kindness.
God gave his Son in our behalf because he loved us. “By this the love of God was revealed in our case, that God sent his only-begotten Son,” says the Bible. To what end? “So that we might gain life through him.” (1 John 4:9) Was God obligated to do so? Not at all! “The ransom paid by Christ Jesus” is an expression of God’s “undeserved kindness.”—Romans 3:24.
Why is God’s gift an act of “undeserved kindness”? The Bible explains: “God recommends his own love to us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) Unselfish love prompted God to act in behalf of weak, helpless, sinful humans. We did not earn that love, nor can we ever repay him. His gift is the greatest expression of love in history.
WHAT SACRIFICE WAS MADE?
Some gifts are precious because they represent a great sacrifice made by the giver. When a person is willing to part with something that is of great value to him and gives it to us, we especially treasure the gift because of the sacrifice.
God “gave his only-begotten Son.” (John 3:16) He could not have offered us anyone dearer to him. During the aeons that God was creating the universe, Jesus worked alongside him and became “the one he was especially fond of.” (Proverbs 8:30) Jesus is God’s “beloved Son” and “the image of the invisible God.” (Colossians 1:13-15) Never has a closer bond existed between two intelligent beings.
Yet, God “did not even spare his own Son.” (Romans 8:32) Jehovah gave his very best for us. No gift has cost him more.

I understand why you might ask why God didn't just forgive us since he can do anything... But we were un pure before him because we were full of sin. He was righteous and pure and we were wretched and sinful. But when he sent his son he paid the price for our sins. And only Jesus could pay that price because he is God's own son. When Jesus died the veil in the temple was torn if half (the veil was between man and the alter of the covenant where only the high priest was aloud to go; everyone else who went in would die) which signified that there was nothing keeping us from being close to God. Jesus died so that we could know his father. Hope this helps!

The death of Jesus is needed in order for witnesses, particularly His apostles, to be convinced that He would rise again and conquer death. Beforehand, Jesus declared Himself God's equal ("I and the Father are One"). As God's equal, He expressed forgiveness to those who tortured and hated Him. His death is not a ritualistic way of forgiving us. His forgiveness is the greatest manifestation of God's love and mercy to all. By going through this dramatic event, He makes His message to us very clear -- the Old Covenant has been fulfilled to make way for the New Covenant. All of Jesus' acts are demonstrations of God's will. Demonstrations speak clearer than mere words.

Yes, it seems you have the story a little warped. That version doesn't make much sense. Jesus came into our hell to suffer and die because doing so defeated the Fallen kingdom which held us captive. It is this freeing of the captives that allows us to accept God's reconciliation. He did "just forgive" us, that's something else entirely.

God warned adam and eve, not to do a certain thing or they would die .. thats be on a path of death without any way to get out of it .. it was all over for mankind until God provided a way out of that through Christ .. Christ was not 'under' that curse and was wrongfully put to death .. this negated what God had originally decreed ..
