Live By Night has bad reviews but I want to go see it? Is it really that bad? I love gangster movies?

I have not seen it yet, and I DO want to see it, but I don't have high hopes. The trailers made it look as if it was a bit too action oriented. However, Affleck has proven himself twice already that he is a reliable director, both on The Town and then on Argo. He has also become a much more talented actor in recent years. That, coupled with the fact that it's been far too long since we had a good gangster movie, makes me want to give this one a shot. However, I will not be going in with very high expectations. I suggest you do the same.

Go see it. The Wolfman got terrible reviews but I still went to see it and loved it.
