I recently replaced the battery on my 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL. Now the radio won't work. Someone help me find the code please!!!?
Is it true that I need some sort of radio code. I have read through the entire owners manual and found nothing about radio codes. I need help please!!!

The code is often given to the buyer of the vehicle in the form of a little card that is about the size of a business card. You will not find it in the owners manual! If you have lost the card, you will have to go to the dealer with your ID and proof of ownership of the vehicle and then they will look up your vehicle VIN number and tell you the code. Sometimes they charge a small fee for this service! I keep my code card in a safe place in my house and have had to use it once so far after replacing the battery. Each radio has its own unique code. So my code number will not work on yours! The purpose of this is to discourage thieves from stealing your radio. The radio will not work without the code!

What do you mean by "won't work"?? Is it asking for a code, or just not turning on? If there's no power, check the fuses, especially the 15-amp (blue) fuse, #31 in the engine compartment fuse box. It's not unusual for the fuse on the radio's constant power circuit to blow when the battery is replaced or the vehicle is jump-started.
