Told my girlfriend she is on the phone too much?

I told my girlfriend she is on the phone too much when we are together so we could talk about it and now she sends me this:

"Okay well too bad, ill just get off my phone now then since im on it too much bye"

Seriously... did I say anything wrong or is she overreacting?

Depends on how you said it. My guess is that you didn't come off well if your idea was to say something as a way of opening the door to a discussion, rather than simply telling her you want to talk about feeling neglected because she's on the phone so much when the two of you are together. That's not an unreasonable thing to say--too many people are oblivious to how rude it is to be engrossed in their telephones when a live human being is sitting right next to them--but a remark like, "You're on your phone too much" doesn't open the door to conversation at all and is rude as well. Think about apologizing for being too controlling, but at the same time, ask her to listen while you tell her how her phone usage makes you feel. If the two of you can't have an honest discussion, what are you doing together?

    Best of luck.

    You clearly touched a nerve

but to be honest? I saw her reply coming before you said it

You should have told her, why be with someone if you cant talk to them

so she overreacted a lil, she wont sulk forever
