I've had a lot of answers reported. Usually unfairly. When I ask for a review, the removal is sometimes reversed in 24 hrs. Sometimes never.
They never tell you if your request has been denied, only when it's been approved. So it's hard to say whether they even reviewed it or not. Reviewing reports takes time and that time costs money, and I don't think Yahoo wants to spend money to mediate petty squabbles over politics and religion (well, mostly politics). A lot of the time I think Yahoo Answers is just running 'on automatic', nobody minding the store. I keep hearing they're going to discontinue it.
But the review process would work much better if both parties were sent an e-mail informing them whether the report stood or was reversed.

I've had a few incorrectly reported answers I appealed, and I've been waiting three months to hear something. I don't think Yahoo reviews appeals anymore.
