All tire manufacturers make dozens of tire models which vary in quality and performance type. So you need to look closely at the specific tire model, not simply the brand. Pirelli, in general, manufactures very high quality tires at reasonable prices.

Tire brands are neither 'good' nor 'bad' for any vehicle. The vehicle doesn't care what tires are mounted on its rims.

But for you, the driver, the difference between a good or bad tire makes all the difference in the world. When it comes to my vehicles, I want tires that will perform, be quiet, and predictably handle what I put them through.

If you want Pirelli's, spend the extra money to get them. In my personal opinion, spending the extra money on good quality, name-brand tires is well worth the extra expense.
