There is not just one stock market, there are different stock exchanges in the world. The U.S. is listed is as the largest exchange in the world. The regular market hours are 9:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. EST (NYSE).

every country has its own stock exchanges - USA is 9:30-4:00 eastern time
