Firefox browser is freezing - videos playing AFTER closed?

Update:

I saw others who asked this question. I: 1) checked Firefox, and I do have the most recent version; and 2) I ran a defrag analysis - I'm at only 2%, as it was last run 8 days ago / on 2/13.

Firefox is freezing up on me. And, at least twice, I've used Task Manager to shut it down - and AFTER, a video is played? I don't see the video, but I hear the audio...

WTF is going on?!?

FWIW: I think both times, I was on www.timesunion.com, my local paper's website.

Well I use Google Chrome and never had those issues... Not that Firefox should have either but try another browser unless you have a very special relationship with Firefox so that you can't replace it.
