How important is calculus and vectors in health/life science or biology?

Already applied to UofT,Mac,Western,Guelph,Ryerson..

none need calc. as a requirement, however some have recommended it.

For those in any of these programs, how much does taking calc help? Will Calc 1 in uni be the same as Calc in high school?

    The problem is that calculus is one of those fundamental tools that crops up all over the place. If you're collecting data then who knows when calculus might be required. Of course, you can nearly always find a colleague who can do the maths for you.
