How do I PERMANENTLY stop Windows 10 from trying to install?

I am uninstalling that k3035583 Windows 10 update notification on a daily basis, and needless to say I am sick of it. How do I permanently stop it from every showing up or get it recognized as malware?

Tried using Windows 10 before, it was utter crap.

    Many have used this software: Josh Mayfield’s GWX Control Panel to delete the icon, remove and hide the offending KB patches, and perform the registry change that tells Windows 7 and 8.1 to not install Windows 10

    I have a few friend, where a dialog box has appeared instead of booting normally into win7 The dialog box suggest continuing with a free win10 installation to fix your booting problems.

    I think Microsoft is slowly sabotaging the existing windows operating systems base, hoodwinking unsuspecting user, into a systematic upgrade to win10.

    Then the Newly elected Speaker Paul Ryan added a litte known amendment to the recent budget, that lets companies pass information along to the government if it thinks you are bending a law, perfect for Microsoft's win10 spying model.

    If you have the Windows Updates set to notify you of updates but allow you to download and install updates, then you can delete that KB 3035583 update and then when it shows up again, just "hide" it and you should no longer be bothered by it again.

    You need to look in the windows update settings and hide k3035583. That'll work for a few weeks till Microsoft work round it. Have you tried the current release of 10? it's much better than the original July release, and IMHO almost up to the level of XP

    Just hiding does not work. I had it hidden and had the other updates to come through. When I looked at the history after the updates were complete kb3035583 was installed.

    I couldn't stop it either, but I changed the reminder status so it only shows up once a week instead of every frickin day. Geez Microsoft, leave me alone.

    You need to remove both KB 3035583 and 2952664 (Win7)/2976978 (Win8)

    Once removed, you have to "hide" them in the next update sequence (Windows update must be "Notify me only", not automatic)

    Can't you just set it to stay stationary on your operating system?
