Whats' worse Porn or Adultery?
I have read many posts on here and just wonder so many people have a hang up about porn.
I just wonder if a married man or woman uses porn to reduce the temptation to commit adultery for any reason is this wrong or justified?.
For instance say the wife/husband had no interest in sex and the other partner had a high sex drive.
Would you think it okay for them to self pleasure and view porn to become aroused if the sexual frustrations became to much?. Or do you think that cheating is the answer.
P.S. This is a general question nothing to do with myself!!!
I myself totally believe that adultery is by far worse and a strong reasons for divorce but just though I would see the views of the masses. I know many religious fanatics will be like they are both sinful but even in the days of the Bibles conception they had evils like they do now.

Obviously cheating... porn is just fantasy. Cheating emotionally or physically is betraying your partner and breaking your vows, completely unforgivable, it is the ultimate betrayal and there are NO excuses for it. Porn is just fantasy to enjoy alone and together as a couple. It means nothing beyond that.

It's a very tricky question. Those who watch porn a lot at some point will want more, which will most likely end up to adultery. Personally speaking, porn doesn't really do anything for me, It's just watching others doing it. Fantasy on the other hand it's a totally different thing. Then again, everybody is wired differently, what works for some might not work for others. I think we should leave religion out of sex, it's a 21st century for gods sake. Live and let Live.

well for starters, you are giving the rest of us men a bad stereotype. -we don't all care about or need sex. not every man has sexual addictions. as for which is worse, porn or adultery, I am not sure.

The Bible equates the two **to a limited extent**.
The Bible teaches that someone who looks at a woman for the purpose of lusting has "committed adultery in his heart".
Some conclude that they are equally sinful.
Some conclude that committing adultery "in the heart" is a serious sin, but less serious than committing adultery "in the flesh".

Adultery.
I am a married woman.
Porn is no threat to me, as long as my husband has not lost his ability to get an erection (yes, as a man becomes addicted to porn, it takes more and more to get him aroused, until the day comes when he cannot get it up with normal sexual activity).
There is nothing wrong with porn. Nor is it cheating.
But adultery is the ultimate betrayal in a marriage.

We cannot say because it depends upon many factors that we have no knowledge of.
Although on the face of it adultery seems worse, but pornography is a form of adultery.
