Calculate the average rate of disappearance of gas?

calculate the average rate of disapperance of gas A in the reaction below when there is initially 2.00 moles of gas A in a 2.00 L container and 20 seconds later 1.25 moles of the gas remains.

A(g)------>B(g)

I really do not get it so can you explain. I think i have to use R= - (change in [A] / time) but I do not know how because Molarity is moles/volume, but I do not know how to find volume.

Thank you
