    I like both..but have sensitivity to glutens. I eat pasta made from corn, since the texture is slightly different then pasta..I bet corn spahgetti can be used as lo-mein! I do not care for rice noodles. Yes, there's a difference!

    Pasta, preferably shaped (rotinit, shells, etc.). Pasta are intertwined. You can have noodles that is not pasta and you can have some that are.
