Can anyone help me with this calculus question?

lim (u4 + 2u + 4)^1/2

u→−2

    Just substitute -2 for u.

    lim (u^4 + 2u + 4)^(1/2) = ((-2)^4 + 2(-2) + 4)^(1/2) = 16^(1/2) = 4

    u-> -2
