if websites dont have https, and require a password should i?

its a trusted website but it has no https but if i put a password in, would it still be encrypted?

e.g. http://candyman.nz/faq/

    It is alright if you put a password in, all websites encrypt passwords, even phishing websites.

    I'd be leery. It's not that I don't trust the site, but without encryption (https:) others may snoop along the way.

    It is alright...just make sure u change your password often and put on your firewall and anti-virus protection.
