Why is it okay for Brock Lesnar to say wrestling is fake but not when Dana White says so?

Dana White replied on Twitter to a guy that wrestling is "fake" and got a lot of, in my opinion, unnecessary hate and criticism from fans and wrestlers.

Brock Lesnar said on Sportscenter that wrestling is "fake" but not a lot of people got angry at him. Why do you think that is?

Reason I am asking this quesiton again is because it seemed like some people did not understand what I was trying to ask the first time.

Maybe it's OK for Brock to say so because he KNOWS it's the truth from an insider's point of view, while those who dislike Dana's opinion *might* see it as brand marketing - denying wrestling so as to promote his own company.

However, it IS a given with most of a mental age of 12or so that "Pro Wrestling" is indeed fake and scripted.

How hard is this to understand that what anyone says in Ultimate Fighting Championship is by Dana Whites command? We're just going to ignore the amount of clock watchers that are in UFC for the bigger paycheck, Professional Wrestling has zero difference from Media or Sports. It Does Not Matter.

    Look at the facts:

    - Why wasn't UFC accepted Pre-Dana White? Ultimate Fighting Champion before Dana White as Promoter was shunned, couldn't get on basic cable and was the reason Extreme Championship Wrestling couldn't get off the ground floor.

    - All Pro Sports have rules, contracts, etc which is no different then professional wrestling. You want to tell me how 'REAL' American Football or European Soccer is, how about Basketball/Baseball which is seen more as a pastime then a sport. Hell, Golf is qualified as a sport...

    - All Media whether Video Game, Television, Movies, Musicals, etc all work off a script even NEWS has Personalities reading off pre-written Teleprompters and The Presidents Speeches are all written via someone else for them.

How is Professional Wrestling any different? The People taking cheapshots are Pro Wrestling being 'Fake' are just looking for attention to stir the stigma pot because that is what gets them attention. Its that simple.

    ---

Add in the fact that Dana White picked a specific time to make these comments and even went after Ronda Rousey for paying respect to 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper before her match gives you enough reason to dislike Dana White, Ultimate Fighting Championship is no different then Pro Wrestling and Brock Lesnar has also said that stating Vince McMahon just does it better.

I don't know the context or what each one said, specifically, but I would guess it's because Brock Lesnar is seen as an ally while Dana White is not. Fans of pro wrestling feel like MMA fans look down on them, and so when the head of the largest MMA organization in the world confirms this, it touches a nerve. Brock Lesnar, since he IS a pro wrestler is probably seen as just saying, "we're all just having fun here".

Because Dana white has never competed in a pro-wrestling ring, and has never took the bumps or travel on the road. Wrestlers like lesnar and other wrestlers who have called wrestling fake, have competed, have traveled on the road, basically, they paid their dues in the business and can call pro-wrestling whatever they want.

Taz talked about this topic on his podcast, he addressed this, he took offense to what Dana white said because Dana white doesn't have the experience in the pro-wrestling business. Guys like punk and Nash who have called it fake, have paid their dues, he may not agree with what they say, but they have a right to call wrestling whatever they want because they have lived through what it takes to be a pro-wrestler
