In 2015 I went through a divorce where I lost $ She lost $ Lawyer won $$ Can I deduct these bills as an itemized deduction on my taxes?

    Fees to an attorney for a divorce are non-deductible personal expenses.

    No. These are personal expenses and are not deductible against your taxes.

    Generally.....No.

    You can only deduct those legal fees specifically designated as tax advice.
