Has anyone tried using car-scratch-removing rubbing compound to remove stains from a bathtub? Write-up says "good for all enamel finishes?

Is your tub enamel (never heard of that) or porcelain????? I think I would stick with soft-scrub, CLR and similar products - could be a costly polishing job.

Certainly worth a try. Tub enamel is different from car paint, but should work fine.

I have used it on fiberglass tubs. You do have to repeat it every couple of weeks to keep the tub from staining though.
