Question for NYC residents: Am I permitted to bring my son to see a friend get married at the NYC Supreme Court or are children not allowed?

I think you mean the NYC Superior Court.

I have no idea, if you can bring a child. My guess is no, simply because courthouses anywhere usually have a limit of about 10 guests.

I checked the website, there is no info on the subject and I have called the courthouse only to be transferred from department to department ending in an answering machine! If the courthouse gave me this info I wouldn't be asking this on Yahoo answers...thanks.

It depends on your son's age. If he's old enough to understand what's happening and old enough to understand that he must be quiet, I can't see why it would be a problem. But why not call the court and ask?
