Worship God or Jesus?
So I was recently checking out some Islam vs Christianity, and I saw that islams believe that Jesus shouldn't be worshiped because he was just a prophet, as were all children of God like him. I wondering if Jesus said anything in the bible that said we should worship him.

There are several references in the Gospels where Jesus accepted worship by people. He never told people not to worship Him; and having met Him, that is what people naturally did.
If He was not God, He would have told them to not worship Him. There are instances in the Gospels of apostles and angels telling others not to worship themselves because they are created just like other people.
Jesus impacted people so much that even religions like Islam cannot deny that Jesus was unique among all others- there is no one like Him! But to make Muhammad's religion not focus the spotlight on Jesus, Muhammad demoted Jesus from GOD Himself to just another prophet. Then Muhammad escalated himself as a prophet above Jesus. (!)
Muhammad would have had a very hard time convincing people that Jesus never existed. That shows just how much Jesus impacts people.
But the best way to experience Him is to believe in Him, worship Him, and invite Him into your heart. There is nothing like a personal relationship with our loving God.

Jesus was God (Jn 1:1,14), thus people responded to him with worship like they did. Below are a few examples.
Mt 2:11 They came into the house and saw the young child with Mary, his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him.
Mt 8:2 Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.”
Mt 9:18 While he told these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.”
Mt 14:33 Those who were in the boat came and worshiped him, saying, “You are truly the Son of God!”
Mt 15:25 But she came and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, help me.”
Jn 20:27 Then he said to Thomas, “Reach here your finger, and see my hands. Reach here your hand, and put it into my side. Don’t be unbelieving, but believing.” 20:28 Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”
Had Jesus not been God, but accepted worship like he did (Ex 20:3), he would have been promoting sin since the first commandment was to worship only God.
In stark contrast, the Apostles were not God and knew it, thus they immediately stopped anyone who attempted to worship them (Ac 10:25-16; 14:12-15).

There are many reference of Jesus asking people to worship God not him. Also, who wrote the Bible or what version of the Bible can be closer to the source is another question.
See these verses:
Revelation 22:9
Luke 4
Mathew. 11:2-10

Worship God,it is appropriate to put the Father first, He is the first person of the Trinity, however only by Jesus can you get to the Father. Romans 9:5- Christ, who overall is the eternally blessed God. Jesus is God manifested, God revealed Himself in different forms.

Jesus never said to worship him. He did say that we should honor him as we honor his Father. He who honors not the son, honors not the father also. Worship is for only. When the devil tempted Jesus with all the kingdoms of the world if Jesus would worship him. Jesus answered and said: It is written you shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve

Why would either God or Jesus need to have a person perform a superstitious ritual like worshiping? I would think that if either one of them actually existed, they would not condone such silly rituals.

If you worship Jesus you worship God. It isn't "either/or". Jesus said "I and the Father are one"; "To have seen me is to have seen the Father"; "Before Abraham came to be, I AM". He commanded that we baptize in the name of the Father, and His own name, and that of the Holy Spirit. But even if He hadn't said anything at all, He clearly demonstrated that He was God, by constantly doing things only God could do.

For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father.
He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
