Julio Cesar Chavez Sr vs Frankie Randall 1 and 2 revisited, what did you think of the outcomes?

First fight: Chavez was ahead on two cards going into the 11th before getting his 2nd point deduction and being knocked down.....

Where the two deductions for low blows fair or was he hard done by? Do you agree with the one judge who had Chavez winning 114-113 or did the right guy win?

Second fight: Who did you have winning after 8 rounds?

BQ: where does Julio Cesar Chavez Sr rank all time P4P?

Chavez was already done by the time he fought Randall. After the Whitaker fight he went downhill and his time was coming at an end. Chavez would win if he didn't get knocked down or the point deduction. Other than that Chavez in his prime would make easy work of Randall. All time p4p in the top 20 IMO. He's considered one of the greatest 140 pounders in history.

Julio Cesar Chavez is a way better fighter than Frankie Randall ever was. Randall had a style to frustrate him. I remember watching both fights on January 29 and May 7 1994. Chavez was past his prime by then and ended up losing to Willy Wise shortly thereafter. I had Randall winning slightly after 8 rounds. Chavez would be about 6-7 on my all time pound for pound list.
