Lucas Matthysse vs Ruslan Provodnikov, where do they go after this fight?

Both will have many options after the fight, win or lose. If it lives up to its billing, it will be an instant classic, and there will be a lot of attention for both boxers.

I expect Matthysse to get a close UD or maybe an MD. Whoever wins will probably be top of the WBC rankings, and second in the WBO rankings. This puts them in line for an eliminator against Postol for a shot at Danny Garcia, or maybe even a straight shot at him. The other option would be to fight for the vacant WBO title which would possibly be against the winner of Crawford vs Dulorme.

Whoever loses this will need to bulid themselves back up a bit, but there are still great fights out there against someone like Herrera or Molina Jr.

B Q) One that sticks out for me was Truscott vs Buckland. Both had been in some amazing fights before and their fight was supposed to be an all out war, but it turned out to be a one sided beat down by Bulckland

I might go with Luke as he's the better boxer between the two. If he decides to bang with Ruslan then he's in trouble. The Siberian Rocky is no stranger to pain as he's Manny Pacquiao's sparring partner. But even Manny is contented in just outboxing him during their sessions. The guy is a tough a$$ but Provo is a one dimensional fighter. I dont see either man visiting the canvass.

BQ. The bout between Devon Alexander and Timothy Bradley is what i consider as the greatest flop as only less than six thousand people showed up for the "Super Fight" as it's dubbed.. It's held in Tim's hometown when both men were still undefeated. Devon suffered a cut and he had to quit suffering his first loss via TKO. Alexander is nowhere near "Great " that night.

Assuming Matthysse wins he probably gets a shot at the winner of Crawford vs Dulorme. Or one of Garcias belts if they're vacant. Vice Versa.
