What happens to some questions?
Once again I submitted a question but it never appeared. Several others have complained about the same thing.
And the last time I asked this question, Yahoo, in their infinite wisdom, issued me a violation!!
Is it even worth continuing?

You've been around long enough to know that questions often disappear for a variety of reasons. Simplest one is a glitch, but it can also be caused by special characters or links within the question. Or the question might actually still be on the site - but moved to a category you don't expect it to be in.
As to the violation, you've also been around long enough to know that violations are based on reporting by other users. The categories you are hanging around in are rife with violations, for ranting or chatting or insulting others who don't support a person's favorite team. So I don't think a single violation is that big a deal for you, and I really doubt it is the first that you've gotten. So whether you will continue or not is up to you.

A level 7 user moved it or a glitch.
