Value of an unopened 50 year old bottle of whiskey?
I have an unopened 1-qt. bottle of Canadian Club blended whiskey, with all labels and seals. It was bottled in 1965, purchased in 1971, and has been in dark storage ever since. 3 questions:
1. Is the whiskey still good?
2. Is what I have particularly valuable?
3. If it's valuable, what's the best way to sell it, and what might I expect for it?

1. Yes
2. It depends: how old was it before it was bottled? Typical Canadian Club was bottled at around 6 years - if that's what you have, you might get $100 for it, although my guess is that you're probably looking at $30-40.
3. It's not.
