There isn't just "one" main event role. There are many main eventers. I agree that D-Bryan won't be the face because he doesn't look like John Cena or even Roman Reigns for that matter, but he's surely going to be one of the main eventers. His Authority and Wyatt storyline was awesome. And his work with Kane. He's proven that he can tell a story, get fans behind him and wrestle.
