Problem with Dish Network remote!?

First the SAT button lights up then all four buttons light up for a couple seconds. And while all four buttons are red we can't change the channel. Even when the SAT button is red we can't change the channel or view the guide.

What could be wrong with the remote?

    If the prob is still not fixed..try this..

    I hope u have checked on the batteries..If thts done, remove one of the battery, while the other is still in ur remote, point the remote away(very impt step) from the tv(u can also go to a different room to do that), then press and hold the "tv" button on the top of ur remote for 30 secs, release the button, put the battery back..point the remote to ur tv and see if it works.

    First - change the batteries.

    Then, Call Dish support and they will tell you how to re-introduce the remote to the TV.
