Sharpton et al wanted to waste taxpayer money on a trial?

Sharpton and a bunch of swaying, frowning black men just opined about how the DA should have manipulated evidence so the Grand Jury would have voted to indict. What are they so willing to waste taxpayer dollars on a doomed trial? Would they be as eager to spend taxpayer dollars if the funds diminished welfare payments?

Update:

I do not consider trials to be a waste of time if there is sufficient evidence. I object to frivolous trials. It is the District Attorney's job to look at the evidence from the police or sheriffs and decide if there is enough evidence to file charges. If the DA thinks s/he has enough, then, in some jurisdictions and for some charges, the DA presents to a Grand Jury and asks for an indictment.

Update 2:

The DA in the Ferguson case did not think there was enough evidence for charges. But, since the national media was screaming about him being compromised by his father's death several decades ago, he sent all the evidence to the Grand Jury rather than making a decision himself.

The Grand Jury agreed that there was not enough evidence to support charges. Why do some people want hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars spent on a trial that both an experienced DA and GJ think would be lost?

Sharpton doesn't care about facts he just wants the money and the headlines. Sharpton has been a charlatan for years. Remember he also accused white guys of rape and that was proven false. Al has done very little for the people of New York and almost nothing for the black people of NY. I only hear hate from him not solutions

You consider trials a waste of time?

Uh, I see you have no link to a reliable source to back up your claim.

Welfare payments? So YOU think that people who work to enrich the Walton family and their children should starve to death?

You really have NO resemblance to anything HUMAN, do you?

I'm no fan of Sharpton and I don't agree with him. But the right to a trial is in the Constitution. It doesn't say "but only if it doesn't cost the taxpayers money."

This all has been a rather glaring example of being pre-judged (prejudice) as demonstrated by the mostly black community and "leaders". Ironic, isn't it!

Yup. Don't ya love seeing the lynch-mob mentality on the other foot?
