People complained about how buggy the spell checker was. Which buggy was what it was, it interfered more than it helped, and if a wod wasn't in their dictionary it would tell you it was spelled wrong. As stated most browsers with the exception of I.E. (Internet Explorer), have a built in one. However there's one you can download, called I.E. Spellcheck. With that you can select at the end to have it check your spelling. Like the built in spell checkers in other browsers, you can add words, and acronyms to it. It was and is free to download. So if you use I.E. I recommend getting it.
