Why are most of the questions multiple days old?

    Because people forget to delete them the day after they are posted.

    You may be looking at Discover not Answer at the top of the page. Newer ones are under answer.

    If you are on the "Discover" tab, that is popular and network questions in no order. Note "Discover" is underlined. Click on "Answer", that is sorted newest first.
