Is "Under the dome" the TV series the same at the book by Steven King?

    The two have very little in common. The basic scenario is the same, and some of the characters have the same names, but that's about it. For example, Julia wasn't married, therefore Barbie didn't kill her husband. Norrie was a local girl. Angie and Dodie were killed at different times by different people. The two diverge even more as time passes.
