    3x(x-1)(5x+9)

    = 3x(5x² + 9x – 5x -9)

    = 3x (5x² - 4x – 9)

    = 15x³ - 12x² - 27x

    just remember what foil means.

forget about the 3x for now.

    (x - 1) (5x + 9)

    x * 5x + x * 9 + (-1)(5x) + (-1)(9)

    5x^2 + 9x - 5x - 9 = 5x^2 + 4x - 9

and that is multiplied by 3x

    3x(5x^2 + 4x - 9)

this just multiplies everything by 3 and adds a power of x so:

    15x^3 + 12x^2 - 27x

    3x(x-1)(5x+9)

    Please and thanks.
