Please advise. My doctor says that humans should?

Deworm at least twice a year (regardless of presence of worms) especially someone like me who eats lots of sushi and half cooked/rare meat. Is this true?I'm sure she knows what she's talking about but I'm nervous to take this syrup called Pin X. Opinions please. thanks.
