Are there any low priced beach cities for vacations?

Does anyone know any low priced cities for beach vacation spots among the east coast (Maryland, Pennsylvania etc.), for anywhere except New York (because I live there). Thank you for all responses. I would also love to hear any experiences. Thanks!
