    1) 26.3 cm ( In addition or subtraction the number of decimal places in the answer should be same as the least number of decimal places of the numbers that are added or subtracted)

    2) 161362.0 cm

    3) 0.5 g

    4) 4.4 m

    5) units are different !!!

    6) 3.0 cm (In multiplicaion and division the number of sig digits in the answer should be same as the least number of sig digits of numbers that are multiplied or divded)

    7) 35.73 m

    8) 0.273 cm/s

1.) When you add or subtract, you use the number with the lowest amount of decimal places to let you know how many significant figures you'll have. In this case, you have 7.4 which lets you know you will have one number after the decimal place. Add all those up and you get 26.281. When you round that to the correct amount of sig figs, you get 26.3

2.) Make sure to convert all these to the same unit first! 1600m + 1.62m + 12m = 1613.62m Here we need 2 sig figs again. (Because there are numbers without any after the decimal place.) You get 1600m

3.) 1 number after decimal place

4.) 1 number after decimal place

5.) You can't convert between meters and kilograms.

6.) Multiplication is a bit different than addition or subtraction. Look at the number with the smallest amount of significant figures to give you how many sig figs you need. 1.31cm × 2.3cm = 3.013 so 3.0cm is your answer

    7.)4 sig figs

8.) They may want you to convert to m/s here

    I hope this helps!
