I hate frozen. Am I the only one?

I'm surrounded by people who love it and I just sit there quietly. I hate the songs (very annoying and overplayed), the characters, etc. but i can stand all of that, but what I hated most was the plot twist in the end, when she had to perform an act of true love, and had to choose between her sister and kristoff. She abandoned her "true love" to save her sister, and I get that, but I feel it should have ended a different way. The way I received it was they were promoting a sisterly love is more important than love with a significant other of the opposite gender - and promoting love between two females (I know, they're sisters its not gay), but some young kids that watch the movie can perceive it this way and grow up homosexual (please, let's not a start a homosexual debate, that's not what this is about), but that's not the point. I didn't like how Disney abandoned the traditional "girl falls in love with guy and they live happily ever after", and included a new relationship that was "more important" apparently. They still could have nearly killed her sister and have her save her and show an act of love that way still, thatd be new, different, great. But less in a way that it trumps the love between girl - boy.

But that's just one of the reasons why I hated it.

But that's just my take on the movie.

Anybody else hate frozen? Or is it just me?

Remember: insults and attacks aren't actually insulting. I have an opinion too. Save your breath :)

I suppose it was done a bit weirdly how they said it was 'an act of true love' between sisters, though you know, love in families is really important for little kids watching the movie to learn. And she didn't really abandon Kristoff; she's just taking things with him more slowly, unlike with Hans. And Elsa kind of needed saving ASAP, so...

Look man, this is a kids movie. Don't dig that deep into the story.

Disney was trying to say family before anything. And dont think about this homosexual angle, geez man! This is a kids movie.

And besides it was a change from all the traditional Disney where true love was Boy-girl love. And it provided a good twist.

And finally, i neither like nor dislike the movie. It was just average Disney flick.

I'm not crazy about it, but for different reasons.

I don't think the message was for her to abandon true love. but one of the few things I liked about the movie was the idea that you don't fall in love that quickly. picking a virtual stranger over your sister is just stupid and doesn't have anything to do with love.

my problem was that the storyline was just badly written. it was kind of all over the place. and I'm getting really sick of disney's never-ending apology movies for ever having made a princess movie where the prince rescues her. it's getting REALLY old.

I liked the song Let it Be, but other than that, I thought the music was really bad.

It is overrated but I still liked it.. I wouldn't watch it again though. It's too corny for me.

I don't understand why people love the songs so much when we have great masterpieces like Beethoven's 5th symphony and Rachmaninoff's 2nd piano concerto,

I wouldn't say I hate it, but I think Frozen is too overrated and just a typical Disney movie.
