I once gave a presentation on D-Day, my second year in JROTC. I got started on it as soon as I found out, and I was glad I did: I found, through all my research, that I didn't know as much as I thought I did. What those men did, and the ingenuity they used to get the job done was absolutely amazing.

Of course. Changed my profile pic and my cover photo from Memorial Day to D-Day related last night. Will leave it up through the weekend. Watched several movies and documentaries with my family, including one on the gliders that were used, as hubby's grandfather was a glider pilot. Flag flew at the house, as it does everyday.

My uncle drove soldiers on boats to fight on D-day.

Well, it popped up above the Google search box. So I guess so.
