I drink four Liter water everyday?

I drink 4L water day sometime 3L. Is it good or I should drink less??

    It depends on yourself and what you are doing.

    If you mean in general, just drink if you feel that you are thirsty or after you have sweated (if it is a hot weather). Otherwise, don't drink too much to make yourself uncomfortable.

    If you are training for a sport that you are playing, then probably you need more water than you generally need without training. It is for replenishing the water that you have lost through heavy sweating as well as others, e.g. helping your muscles work better during training.

    Every day you lose water through your breath, perspiration, urine and bowel movements. For your body to function properly, you must replenish its water supply by consuming beverages and foods that contain water.

    So how much fluid does the average, healthy adult living in a temperate climate need? The Institute of Medicine determined that an adequate intake (AI) for men is roughly 3 liters (about 13 cups) of total beverages a day. The AI for women is 2.2 liters (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day.

    Drink when you are thirsty. Any more is just silly.
