Can I return to God even after I received the Truth?

When tribulation came into my life I lost my faith and rebelled against God then now I realised God wanted to test my faith in Him and I failed to do the right thing is there any forgiveness left in this place ?

Yes, all of us are a bit slow to recognize the spirit in our lives. All of us are a bit slow to repent and give our lives to Christ. Fortunately for us, Christ is ready to forgive us as soon as we truly repent. Isaiah stated that though our sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow, though they be crimson red, they shall be as wool. In other words, Christ washes us clean through His atoning blood if we will turn our lives over to Him.

Do not doubt, but have faith.

Simon Peter received the truth from God by revelation - as Jesus rejoiced over, in Matthew 16:13-17. Not long after, Jesus then had to rebuke him most severely for speaking like Satan - verses 22-23.

And then Simon Peter renounced Jesus three times in one night - as Jesus predicted he would. When the male chicken crowed the second time, Peter remembered Jesus' warning, and wept bitterly. Yet despite that, Jesus told the other apostles to restore Peter after His resurrection, and that is what happened.

If Peter could return and be restored after such a mighty failure, you bet you can! It is the job of the Holy Spirit to convict us of our sin but if we resist His promptings, then we will suffer until we acknowledge our failure. Once we have stopped grieving the Holy Spirit, we can be restored, and our walk with God will be much closer than it was before.

"The Lord disciplines those he loves" and, "God disciplines us for our good" we are told in Hebrews 12:6 and 10. Do not give up. Remember the parable of the prodigal son. The Father more than meets us half-way when we return to Him. AiH

Your experience of "god" takes place in your imagination. Therefore, the solution to your problem will be found there.

God wanted to test your faith???? Really??? You really want to honor and respect a person who tests you during a difficult time to see if you are worthy of going to heaven, or if you should go to Hell? You WANT to worship such a sadistic tyrant? REALLY???????

HAHAHAHAHA you are definitely brainwashed!!! No real gods or devils exist anywhere outside of any ones inculcated minds!!! If any one of the imagined gods was real then it would be the only god, but it is just an imaginary myth!!!

YES! He is ALWAYS faithful. Don't listen to the atheist answers, who have no clue what they're talking about. Read the following:

    Luke 15:11-24 KJV

11 And he said, A certain man had two sons: 12 and the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. 13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. 14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. 15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. 17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 and am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. 21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. 22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: 23 and bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: 24 for this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

That father (JESUS) watched for his son day and night, night and day, HOPING he would return home. Despite that behavior being shameful in that culture, the father watched--always--for his son. When he saw him from way far off, HE RAN to him and EMBRACED HIM. This was NOT done in that culture. Men did NOT run. They didn't embrace other men, even their sons. It just wasn't done. It was considered an embarrassing behavior. No one did that.

This father did because he LOVED his son more than words could ever explain.

Jesus is the father in this story. He has His eyes watching for your return day and night, night and day. When you FINALLY come back and repent, He is overjoyed and throws a HUGE party for His lost one who was dead and is alive again, who was lost and now is found.

    Luke 15:10 KJV

10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

He wants you to come home. He wants you to fall into the shelter of His arms, repent and KNOW you are home. He wants you to get to know Him more and more with each passing day. And when you do this, and you dedicate your life to getting to know Him, you WILL NOT be disappointed. This is no love greater than that of Jesus for His children.

TRULY AMAZING. He loves you so. Go back home. He will ALWAYS welcome you with open arms.
