22 and never had a girlfriend?

Hi. I am 22 years old and never had a girlfriend which isn't a priority to me, but I would like to share my life experiences with someone and so forth.

I get asked a lot why I haven't got a girlfriend? Then I question myself why haven't I? It's been on my mind for sometime to the point of getting upset about it and it's becoming a distraction.

I've spoken to girls at work who I've asked to give there opinions on me. They say I'm beautiful and handsome and like me because I have a hidden conscience which I appreciate but then I think is it me or is it not my time? I feel like I'll never find her.

My friend at work says maybe join the gym he goes to and wants to see me happy as I feel depression is crawling in.

Any advice?

"They say I'm beautiful and handsome". Mate if that was actually true, then you would of had a girlfriend by now.

To me, it's not embarrassing that you've never had a girlfriend.

I'm not going to be some know-it-all and give you tips on being good at approaching women.

I'm in my late 20's (I'm 29) and I don't even have approaching women down to a science.

I know when I'm comfortable or not, being around/ talking to a woman whether she's ugly, cute or decent looking.

It's just a gut feeling when I see and around any woman.

To me, it sucks more to be unrecognized by women or to be rejected and led on by women.

It's also horrible if a person has gone through being rejected/lead on by women and even had horrible girlfriends.

I've had 2 messed up ex girlfriends and have dealt with being rejected and led on by women.

I'm not a virgin but for me, it's like, "whatever" to me.

Right now, I just know I'm never going to meet the right woman.

For 3 straight years, I've had to deal with finding a permanent job.

It was only until last February that I got a permanent job even though I hate it.

I just deal with being single.

I do get a little jealous seeing happy couples together in public.

I wouldn't wish for anybody to be miserable though.

For people in their 20's, there are more important things to deal with like finishing college/trade school, getting a job, paying bills and moving out of their parents home.

I guess being a virgin is only lame if you were like a former friend of mine who is in his late 20's and just rates women's look and never bothers to talk to women or another former friend of mine who would give me advice on women when he never had a girlfriend.

I hope that I've helped answer your question and take care of yourself. I mean it. ~ Alan

    It's not a big deal.

I'm 23 and I still don't have a girlfriend. There's people that didn't find a mate until they were in their 30s, 40s, or even 50s and above.

Just have fun in life and don't try to rush things. Good things come to those who wait.
