Both have their good and bad musicians.

Metal

Good: Slayer, Metallica, Children of Bodom, Meshuggah, Sepultra

Bad: Suicide Silence, any deathcore. Lol

Rap

Good: Tupac, Immortal Technique, Eminem,

Bad: Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Birdman.

You can't even compare them anyway

Everyone has their own opinion but metal still kicks rap's ***. Metal has a more complex composition than rap. Add the words *****, and bang bang to a song and you will get a hit. Don't forget the gay names as well.

I don't really enjoy either but if forced to choose one, Metal.

You'll get totally different answers if you ask this on Rap/Hip Hop. Of course the users on Rock & Pop are going to answer Metal. Otherwise, they wouldn't be here...they'd be over on RHH.

I'm personally a fan of metal music.

Metal for me.

I'm mostly into metal, but I respect rap artists like LL Cool J and Run DMC. I'll pick those over Suicide Silence any day of the week.
