Why we call yourself Christians when all we do is the devil work?

I know there is a wide variety of thought on this within Christianity, and as a nonbeliever, perhaps I am not the best person to answer this. But what I hear most often from them is that it is impossible for us to live a sinless life. Many of them even say we are born with an original sin thanks to Adam. The difference is that they believe accepting Jesus gives them a shot at heaven even if they are less than sinless.

With all our animal like behaviour we are human beings.Similarly,being a Christian nothing is guaranteed.You are not exactly a so called Christian-you practice Christianity as much as is possible for you.However there is always a scope to improve either in this life or the lafe after to be a human with better values and spiritual outlook provided one works towards it through self realisation,introspection etc.

Example? (1 Thess:5:21).

Jesus clearly states that the wee ego we all adhere to is the devil within. We should no longer listen to its constant cries and listen only to the true Self or soul within the higher mind and not to listen to the lower mind at the emotional level of our being. Amen.

Traistaru- Christians can still make choices. At least, Holy Spirit is convicting you. Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding, but acknowledge Him in everything you do, and He will set your paths straight.
