This is a "Brain" teaser. You are on a boat, but not a ship.?
The Captain and Navigator have been working for days to reach your destination. Yet no one has ever reached the location before by boat. Only a few of the crew are allowed on deck to check out the view, but it is a historic moment.
After a brief time the Captain orders up a new course, but the navigator points out that their is only one direction he can go. First question is why? Then do you know the Name of the boat. And it's exact location, Lat./Lon. ? Extra points if you know the Captains name.

On august 17, 1977, the first surface ship arrived at the north pole- the Arktika, a Soviet Union icebreaker captained by Yury Kuchiev. The exact location was 90 degrees N latitude. As all lines of longitude converge at 90 N, there is no longitudinal measurement. And of course, there is only 1 direction you can travel from 90 N, which is south. Thanks for the offer of Xtra points, but I don't think YA allows that, lol!
