Are we missing a trick?
Michael Adebolajo is to appeal against his life sentence for murdering Lee Rigby, claiming that it was an act of war. I have no problem with allowing his appeal. He could then be locked up as a prisoner of war. and they are never released until the war is finally over and if they should attempt to escape, they can be shot. They don't get the privileges that are given to prisoners in the UK and have no visitors.

No because he will say it is an "act of war" because Britain is in Iraq and Afghanistan. As we plan to pull out of those countries this year that would mean we had to release him this year. Ok it may mean we have to deport him, but do people really want to see him deported and allowed to live a free life abroad after what he has done???

If sanity reigns then the court of Appeal should repeal out of hand the "Soldier of Allah" thing. They can only look at the trial and see if there had been anything wrong, but there could be no doubt him and his mate did what they were accused of as they made a video of it himself, and urged others to film them.
The court should reject his application until he had been sentenced and look at them both if he wishes.
But in this nutty age where if you are non white you seem in a special position, utterly anything could happen no matter how bizarre. They could even be released ?

Is this ridiculous appeal to be paid for by the UK taxpayer ?? In circumstances such as this it should be incumbant on the appellant to raise his own funds through sympathetic private organisations to finance an appeal.

We have been missing tricks for years! It would be cheaper to take this pos out. Appealing ffs would he get an appeal in a muslim country for what he did? No he would not as he well knows.

What a pity our marksmen are not as good as they used to be. What is so hard about shooting a nutter running towards your car? How near does he have to be for you to hit him twice in the chest and then one in the head. Definitely below the standards we expect from a marksman. So now we have all this appeal malarkey. We just don't learn do we?

put them all up against a wall , too much money is wasted on their appeal.s , see how long it took to get shot of the guy with the hook ,and the other one who finally got deported back to Jordan .
