How to apply for a title for a snowmobile?
I received an old Mercury Snowmobile in scrap shape without a title. I'm starting to fix it up and wondered how I would apply for a title in Ontario. It was left at a marina for more than a decade and the new owner gave it to me instead of sending it to scrap. How do I register it in Ontario?

Without the registration for the snowmobile you cannot transfer it into your name. If the marina owner was the previous registered owner then they can obtain a new registration. If they were not the previous registered owners then it get complicated. You can contact the company at the link below and see what they can do. They do charge a fee but it's probably going to be the easiest way of going about this.
