Punk Rock or Grunge Rock?

You know: Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden vs The Ramones, Bad Brains, The Clash, The Misfits

    All of the "grunge" was influenced by the punk bands. And most of them like nirvana and pearl jam considered their music to be punk.

    Punk. Never really cared much for Grunge, I have a strong dislike for Pearl Jam.

    Why is it not possible to like more than one genre to most people? Do these divisions really need to be made? I like punk and post-grunge, but I hate grunge.

    Punk, the only grunge band i like is Nirvana. Grunge generally is too boring for my taste.

    Punk Rock!

    Hardcore punk is awesome, there is no substitute for it (apart from crossover thrash).
