It is really hard to say. Heart burn is just par for the course with pregnancy. The cramping and braxoton hicks can go on for weeks and not mean anything. I had it with my 3rd and it felt like hard labor for the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy. The baby can drop and be engaged for weeks. You could even dialate a few cm and not go any further for weeks. The shower thing is just a mental thing where you have in the back of your mind that it could happen at any minute and you don't want to be nasty and dirty when it happens. I took like 3 a day and shaved my legs every day with my last one. Good luck. It could be any time now or you could go to your due date and beyond.

Milk can settle it, there's a medicine called Gaviscon.. I dunno if you've heard of it, or go to your doctor, he/she will prescribe or reccomend you something if it's really bad.. Be best to check for anything too, there may be things you can't have because your pregnant.. =)
